Booking via www.einsteinboat.com is the best way to get the tickets! There you can check applicable promotions and discounts and get the latest information about your trip and destination. We do not recommend showing up without having made a reservation as we often get full during busy periods. Please feel free to contact our reservation staff for further information.

We suggest to purchase ticket through our website, to avoid any issues that might be happen as we have ever experienced before as no-chance to get refund if something go wrong.

We strictly inform you to contact our reservation staff to help you reschedule your reservation at least within 48 hours. Unless force majeur reason (such as bad weather, volcanic activity, travel restriction by the government, or other emergency reasons), we have a regulation about cancellation fees, as follows:

1. Full Refund: Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled departure.
2. 50% Refund: Cancellations made 24 to 48 hours before the scheduled departure.
3. No Refund: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled departure.

As we mentioned in the terms & conditions, Infant under 3 years old and above 65 years old, pregnant women, those who have heart problems or back problems, are not allowed to ride the fast boat, but will be allowed to travel after signing the disclaimer letter & it will be entirely passenger responsibility. Please contact our office to sign it.

In case that we have a strong reason to cancel the boat trip, you will be transferred to another fast boat, free of charge. We are responsible for the transfer process and we care about each of our customer.

In general, sea conditions tend to be better in the morning, but this cannot be guaranteed. If you have a connecting flight out of Bali, choose an earlier boat so you have plenty of time to get to the airport. Land travel to the departure port is also faster in the morning because traffic is lighter.

Would be great to be arrive in the Harbour at least 30 mins before the departure. Please show in the office a validate tickets to our staffs.

Each passenger can carry a maximum of 2 pieces of free baggage or a total weight of no more than 25kg. If more, passengers need to pay extra according to the company's standard rate. Or it can also be stored in the office in Bali if space is available. The company is not responsible for loss or damage to baggage during inter-island transit.

Sure, our porter staff will help you to carry your luggage onto the boat. Please make sure you put the luggage tag on your belonging.

Yes, in good sea conditions you are allowed to sit on deck, but you must down if instructed by the crew. Don't forget to wear your sunnies & sunscreen!

From Sanur to Nusa Lembongan/Nusa Penida it takes around 30 to 45 minutes and from Nusa Penida/Nusa Lembongan to the Gili Islands or Bangsal Lombok it can be reached in an estimated time of 2 to 2.30 hours depending on sea conditions. Sometimes it can be faster but it can also take longer than expected.

From Bali to Lombok, the boat will stop 3 times for passengers who booked for a different destination. The first stop is Gili Trawangan then Gili Air and the last stop is at Bangsal port, Lombok island. The boat will stop 3 times for passengers who booked for a different destination. Each stop will take time of about 5 – 10 minutes

It depends on where your accommodation is located. For guests who have transportation reservation with us, we will ensure you arrive at the port at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure and for guests who do not have transportation reservations, it is best to leave the hotel for the port 1.5 hours in advance to avoid delays and traffic jams.

You can ask for sea-sick pills at our office. Or, choose a seat near to the window, thus allowing you to enjoy the scene during the trip. Some snacks and fruit slices may help too.

Please to let us know when you have made your arrangements. Please note that if you do not tell us at least 24 hours before hand, we may not be able to provide transport!

Passengers who want to arrange their own transport are welcome to do so: hotels and tour desks can arrange this for you but that’s usually more expensive.

It is safer and cheaper to book Einstein Bali fastboat transport option – traffic is very unpredictable and we know the roads very well. We will also hold the boat for you if our driver informs us of a problem so you won’t miss the boat.

Our transport service only operates in Bali. In Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan you can organize it with the hotel. This is different from Gili Air and Gili Trawangan, where there is no motorized transportation and is not allowed on these islands. You can use a bicycle to get around or perhaps a horse-drawn carriage as an alternative!

In Lombok, we recommend that you organize your transportation with the hotel from Bangsal port to your destination! There are regulations from the local community regarding taxis, Grab, Gojek etc. which are not allowed to pick up passengers from the port, and sometimes the prices given are less affordable. But you can try it if there are no other options.

Einstein Boat is not responsible for flight delays or missed connections. We always recommend that you make the boat crossing at least one day in advance, so you don't rush and reduce anxiety. Especially during Peak Season where alternative transportation tends to be more fully booked and can be canceled at any time for any reason.

However, if you have a flight scheduled on the same day as your trip with us, please choose your departure schedule as early as possible by providing us with flight details and information, make sure you have informed us in advance so we can help. If we will know your flight schedule, then we can make the best alternative transportation to take you from or to the airport.
