Honestly, I don’t know why people are complaining. It’s a fast boat, and the crew can’t magically make the waves disappear; you’re on the open sea. The whole trip takes around 2 to 3 hours, depending on where you board and where you’re heading. We had a small delay because the Gili Islands are small islands, and accordingly, the harbor is small as well. When you see all the tourists with their 1-2 suitcases for a 3-day island visit, just because they’re too stingy to store their luggage in Bali for 7-10 euros, it’s no wonder the ferries are often delayed, as tons of luggage need to be unloaded. To avoid getting seasick, I bought motion sickness pills at the pharmacy, 7,000 Rp for 10 pills. Even though I’ve never had issues before, I took them as a precaution. Everything was great, despite the waves. This has been the best boat I’ve ever taken so far. And yes, you pay for a Mercedes, but you get one too, and I know other ferries – so good luck, feel free to try the others. The staff was friendly and attentive. You get a bottle of water and a small snack. Super comfortable. And oh yes, I don’t know who’s selling you expensive tickets. On the Einstein Fast Ferry website, as well as on GetYourGuide or in their office stores, you get the same prices. And for anyone missing the departure, well, that can happen. It clearly says on the ticket to be there half an hour before. It annoys me when people show up at the last minute, strolling in with their thousand suitcases, slowing everything down! Glad you missed the ferry this time; maybe you’ll be on time next time!

GAME CHANGER!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stopped island hopping and exploring just because of the bad experience we have had in the past years over and over again but this is THE BEST discovery ever! So clean! So fresh! SO PROFESSIONAL! What a pleasant ride! Comfortable seats and snacks and A COLD TOWEL on arrival?!! Wow! You can see someone has put their heart in this! Beautiful! Thank you!!! I finally can go visit the beautiful islands again!!!

After my last trip on a fastboat, I was very nervous to try again, but helpful staff made this trip very easy. There was good air conditioning on board, and we were given water and a snack. Sea sickness tablets are available if requested. The seats were comfortable, and the boat was not overcrowded. By far worth the extra cost compared with the smaller fastboats (I felt safe here, unlike with the other companies). Thank you Einstein staff

Probably the best boat to Gili. Very clean and professional. The crew is very friendly and helpful. The crew tried very hard to stick to the schedule. The only serious technical defect is that the side windows are installed incorrectly. The windows cannot be locked and open by themselves when the boat is moving. The locking buttons are installed the wrong way round and the counterpart for engaging the lock is missing on all the side windows. I can still highly recommend the Einstein.

Booked a day before with Einstein Fast Boat and I would highly recommend. They are very professional, comfortable seats & get free water and snacks. We booked with Awenk at information desk on Gili Air island and he was very helpful & friendly! Extra bonus he carried out bags onto the boat for us. It was also a reasonable price & the time went really fast back to the mainland! Would definitely use this company again when I return to Indonesia.
