How To Get to Lombok?
There are several ways to reach Lombok, which includes:
- By EINSTEIN fastboat – the fastest way among all options, most commonly used for travel from Bali to Gili Islands. Your arrival point will be Bangsal Harbor.
- By flight – it is the most convenient way to get to the island, your arrival point is Lombok International Airport, it takes 30 minutes from Bali, 2 hours from Jakarta, and 3 hours from Singapore.
- By public ferry – this is the most affordable option among the three yet it is the longest travel time. The arrival point is at Lembar Harbor, and it takes approximately 5 hours from Padang Bai, Bali to the harbor.

- Bear in mind that when travelling through Lombok, public transport is limited, not very common in smaller towns, and mostly based around the larger towns. On your arrival, consider renting a car or scooter or bike to travel around the island quickly or arrange a driver instead.
- The currency used in Lombok is Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), where cash payments are still a preferred method in many areas – therefore it is highly recommended for you to prepare cash for any activities. However, payments by card can be accepted for some bigger establishments.
